The medical school – New Jersey’s fifth – is expected to open in the fall of 2017.  Its creation is the result of a partnership with Hackensack University Health Network, which operates a chain of hospitals based in Hackensack.

Plans call for its campus to be the buildings that once housed the pharmaceutical giant Hoffman-LaRoche, along Route 3 in Clifton and Nutley.
