Two North Jersey babies make a perfect entrance on Mother’s Day

May 9, 2016

HACKENSACK — Baby Vincent just needed to hold on one more day.

That’s all Krystina Reilly hoped for — that her son would wait just one more day to be born, enough time for her to attend a wedding at MetLife Stadium with her husband, a die-hard New York Giants fan. And not just any wedding: Not only was it held in the Giants’ home base, it was officiated by former coach Tom Coughlin.

“All I wanted to do was go to the wedding,” Krystina said.

Vincent did not disappoint. Already proving himself a good son while still in utero, Vincent waited until after the Reillys had returned home Saturday night to make his presence felt.

Krystina, 31, of Clifton started experiencing contractions about midnight. Eleven hours later — 11:04 a.m., to be exact — Vincent Brian Reilly was being welcomed into the world by his elated parents.

“Vincent held out for me,” dad Brian, 33, said Sunday afternoon.
