“It’s a good day,” Hoffmann-La Roche Vice President Tom Lyon, head of the Nutley/Clifton campus, told the Sun. It was, indeed.

Roche announced last Thursday that it will sell its 116-acre campus to PB NutclifI LLC, an affiliate of Bloomfield-based Prism Capital Partners LLC. The transfer is expected by Sept. 30.

Also, Seton Hall University and Hackensack Meridian Health entered a long-term agreement with Prism to lease 16 acres, including two research and development buildings. On Jan. 15, 2015, Hackensack Meridian Health Network and Seton Hall University announced their partnership to operate New Jersey’s first private medical school in 50 years, planned for part of the Roche property.
