Members of the New Jersey Police Honor Legion recently celebrated Christmas in July with patients at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at HackensackUMC, a member of Hackensack Meridian Health. The officers brought truckloads of gifts, many of which were distributed to pediatric patients and their siblings who attended the celebration. The remaining gifts will be used throughout the year to support patient care.
Several vendors also contributed to this year’s celebration, including Hug-A-Me, the face painter from EnCourage Kids; Ike Lester, a sketch artist; Beading Bonnie from Portable Playhouse and Princess Dreams. HackensackUMC team members also donated some of the gifts for the children.
