JFK Health and Hackensack Meridian Announce Merger

EDISON — JFK Health, located on James Street, is set to merge with Hackensack Meridian Health, adding another location to the recently merged string of hospitals that stretches from Bergen County to Ocean County.

On Thursday, JFK Health and Hackensack Meridian Health announced the execution of a Letter of Intent (LOI) between the organizations regarding the potential affiliation.

In June, Meridian Health and Hackensack University Health Network announced a merger that gave the combined hospital network 13 hospitals in the state with about 6,000 affiliated physicians and 28,000 employees, and $4.3 billion in revenue.
