BOGOTA — Jeff Feagles, a former NFL punter who won the Super Bowl with the Giants in 2008, thanked St. Joseph Academy students Friday for raising money with bake sales, car washes and penny drives for children’s cancer research.
“I wear this ring proudly because it was a team effort,” he said, holding up his championship ring. Children battling cancer have a team of doctors and nurses helping them, but they also have the support of the students at St. Joseph, he said. “Keep it up, because people who are suffering from this disease, they appreciate the support.”
