Anupama Nehra, M.D.
Riverview Medical Center is pleased to welcome Board Certified oncologist and hematologist Anupama Nehra, M.D. to the medical staff. Dr. Nehra joins the team of Susan Greenberg, M.D. and Stephen Windsor, M.D. at the Adult Medical Oncology Group, part of Meridian Medical Group – Specialty Care, within Riverview Medical Center’s new cancer care center. She provides specialized care for adults in need of general oncology and hematology services and has a special interest in breast, gynecologic and colon cancer care.
She received her medical degree from Sharma Institute of Medical Sciences in India and completed her residency in internal medicine at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Prior to her residency, Dr. Nehra interned at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and completed a fellowship in hematology oncology at Downstate Medical Center, also in Brooklyn, NY.
“Helping people living with cancer has been my passion for a long time,” says Dr. Nehra. “I’m excited to bring my expertise and enthusiasm to help treat existing patients at Riverview, as well as new patients who are looking for a specialist right in their own community.”
