For hospital workers, snow may mean sleepover, but no day off

Hospitals around the State of New Jersey prepared for the snowstorm on Tuesday and commented on the readiness of staff. “We are open 24/7 no matter what the weather or circumstance,” said Steven Littleson, president of Hospital Services and chief operating officer of Hackensack Meridian Health. “We are extremely proud of the dedication of our health care team members braving the elements to provide care for all of our patients — our communities can rest assured we are here for them.”
