While health care reform stalls in Washington, Hackensack Meridian Health is embracing innovations that improve care and reduce costs. This switch to value-based care is a big step away from fee-for-service medicine and its happening through the network’s successful Affordable Care Organizations (ACOs) – including one ranked 7th in the nation in 2015 based on savings of $33 million coupled with high quality care scores.
