RECIPE: Healthy Shamrock Shake

It’s that time of year where everything turns green to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!

You don’t need to give up eating healthy to get in on the fun – try out this healthy version of a Shamrock Shake to get you in the festive mood!

This recipe makes 4 servings (serving size 6 oz)

Ingredients:

1 cup baby spinach

1 ripe banana

1 cup low fat vanilla Greek yogurt

¼ teaspoon mint extract

1 cup vanilla almond or soy milk

Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender in the order as listed and blend until smooth
  2. Pour into a glass and garnish with a mint leaf to serve.
