Center for Simulation and Experiential Learning
With a vision to cultivate an organizational environment that is dedicated to interdisciplinary, professional, patient centered education through the use of experiential and simulation based learning, Meridian Health has committed resources to the new Center for Clinical Simulation.
New Knowledge Congress
New Knowledge and Innovations Congress purpose – to bring together the council chairs and mentors of the specialty scholars (quality, research, EBP, geriatric) in order to foster and support nurses in generating new knowledge, implementing best practice protocols, improving care processes and achieving the highest quality nursing care.
Specialty Scholar Program
The Specialty Scholar Program is a component of the Clinical Advancement and Recognition of Excellences (CARE) program. Specialty Scholars complete projects in research, evidence-based practice or quality improvement.
The Ann May Memorial Homeopathic Hospital opened in Spring Lake in 1904 as a memorial to the daughter of Alboina N. Whartenby. The Ann May School of Nursing began its tradition of offering the finest entry –level hospital-based nursing diploma program available in the area shortly after.
