PGY 1 Pharmacy Residency Application Process | Hackensack University Medical Center

Applicant must have received their Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited school or college. Unfortunately, HUMC is currently unable to sponsor candidates for H-1B status to work as pharmacy residents

HUMC participates in the ASHP Resident Matching Program. Applicants interested in the program should submit the following materials through PhORCAS:

  1. Curriculum vitae
  2. Pharmacy school transcript
  3. Three recommendation letters – references should complete the reference section in PhORCAS. Traditional letters of reference are not required. The clinical preceptor should be able to comment on your scope of responsibility, total patient load, level of autonomy, clinical abilities, and organizational and time management skills.
