Victor Carrillo, Ph.D., MPA
Victor A. Carrillo is the Vice President of Quality Science & Operations at Hackensack Meridian Health. Dr. Carrillo works closely with the Hackensack Meridian Health executive team, hospital presidents, CMOs, department chairs, Population Health and the Physician Enterprise to develop and lead the implementation of Hackensack Meridian Health system-wide inpatient and ambulatory quality initiative strategies. He is also responsible for oversight of the system-wide quality outcomes and Transitions of Care programs. He leads the identification, implementation, and execution of tactics to assure a high performing, patient centric network-wide health services.
Prior to joining Hackensack Meridian Health, Dr. Carrillo served as director of community health development at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. In this position, Dr. Carrillo oversaw the development and implementation of various public health programs in the New York City area.
Dr. Carrillo received his BS in Biology and MPA in Health Care Administration from Pace University and his doctorate in Public Health and Epidemiology from Walden University. Dr. Carrillo also holds academic appointments as an assistant professor in the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall, with a primary appointment in the department of Internal Medicine and a secondary appointment in the department of Family Medicine.
William Fleischman, M.D., MHS
William Fleischman is the Director of Quality and Implementation Science at Hackensack Meridian Health, Department of Patient Safety & Quality. In this role, he helps manage and implement a range of quality improvement projects with the aim of improving the scientific rigor of quality improvement across the health system. Dr. Fleischman is an emergency physician who grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He received his undergraduate degree from Touro College and his medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine. He completed residency in emergency medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, and health services research training at the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program at the Yale School of Medicine. He previously worked at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services as a Medical Officer in the Center for Program Integrity, focusing on reducing fraud, waste and abuse within Medicare and Medicaid, and on developing cost measures for the Quality Payment Program. His research has focused on emergency department monitor alarms, and on how pharmaceutical manufacturer payments affect physician prescribing.
Jeanette Previdi, MPH, BSN, RN, CPPS
Jeanette Previdi is a Registered Nurse with many years of experience. For the last 9 years, Ms. Previdi has been a patient Patient Safety and Quality Advisor at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack Meridian Health, in NJ. Ms. Previdi achieved the Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) from the National Patient Safety Foundation in December 2016 and is well versed in the tools and principles for patient safety and quality. Ms. Previdi has also had over 20 years of experience in Nursing Education and Resuscitation Science. She has been a presenter at several national conferences, including Premier Breakthroughs, Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI), QUEST National Meeting, National Nursing Staff Development Organization (NNSDO), National Association of Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), the American Delirium Society (ADS), and American Association of Public Health (APHA). She is a long-time volunteer for the American Heart Association (AHA) and has served on two national committees for the AHA – First Aid Committee and Systems of Care Committee.
