Our pediatric intensive care units (PICU) provide the most advanced care for traumatic illnesses or injures. We serve children from birth through age 21 for life-threatening conditions of the brain or spinal cord, lungs, blood, heart, and bone and joints, as well as infectious diseases, endocrine disorders, cancer and other serious medical conditions. Our pediatric intensive care units are part of state-designated children's hospitals. Pediatric patients have private rooms with a place for parents to stay at the bedside 24/7. Patients receive the most advanced care in a way that minimizes stress as much as possible. The PICU gives your child access to:
