Nurses at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and Southern Ocean Medical Center ratify contracts

Negotiations with 1,500 nurses represented by HPAE at the two hospitals ended with a contract ratified and team members receiving raises of up to 2.5 percent. The hospital’s bargaining committee worked hard through nearly 20 sessions since June 21 to reach agreements which resulted in our continued delivery of safe, high-quality care for patients and competitive and fair wages and benefits for our teams.
