Hackensack Meridian Health Announces ROI-NJ 2020 Champion of the C-Suite Recognitions in Three Categories

Hackensack Meridian Health is pleased to announce ROI-NJ 2020 Champion of the C-Suite Award recognitions in three categories, honoring key leaders in their specific areas of expertise: Robert C. Garrett, chief executive officer of Hackensack Meridian Health; Nancy R. Corcoran-Davidoff, executive vice president, chief experience and human resources officer for Hackensack Meridian Health; and David Reis, Ph.D., executive vice president and chief information officer at Hackensack Meridian Health.

Litwin, Esq., chair of the Hackensack Meridian Health Board of Trustees. “They have made a significant impact and a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients, their families, our team members, and the wider community. The ROI-NJ 2020 Champions of the C-Suite program recognizes C-level executives who have made outstanding contributions to their company’s performance and leadership, as well as the local communities that support their business. According to ROI-NJ, these individuals are the C-Suite influencers who are trailblazers, innovators, visionaries, and exemplary leaders who work every day to create a better, more successful tomorrow for New Jersey businesses.

Under Mr. Garrett’s leadership, Hackensack Meridian Health has forged partnerships to advance cancer and behavioral health treatment, medical education, and innovation. Since the Hackensack Meridian Health merger, Mr. Garrett has led the integration process and driven the enterprise of the largest and most comprehensive health network in New Jersey, offering a complete range of medical services, academic programs, innovative research and life-enhancing care. Mr. Garrett is being honored in the CEO/COO of the Year category.

Ms. Corcoran-Davidoff is responsible for the strategic leadership, design, implementation, and monitoring of programs and initiatives that fulfill the health network’s mission to achieve a high reliability culture focused on person-centered care models which provide an extraordinary human experience comprised of safety, quality, respect and empathetic care and services. She is also responsible for developing and executing the human resource strategy. Ms. Corcoran-Davidoff is being honored in the CDO/CHRO of the Year category.

In his role at Hackensack Meridian Health, Dr. Reis is driving the value of IT through innovation, cost optimization, and risk management. A leading health IT expert in the digitization of health care, platform technologies and telemedicine, he is particularly focused on the intersection of electronic health records, true interoperability, and the consumerization of health care. He is motivated and inspired by increasing health care quality, and improving the human experience of health care services. Dr. Reis is being honored in the CIO/CTO of the Year category.

Each honoree will be recognized at an awards reception and networking event on February 19 at Bridgewater Manor in Bridgewater Township, NJ. Their accomplishments will be profiled in a future issue of ROI-NJ.
