Hackensack Meridian Health is pleased to announce that four of its hospitals have earned an “A” from the Leapfrog Group as part of the spring 2020 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade. This designation recognizes hospitals for efforts to protect patients from harm and provide safer health care.
The following Hackensack Meridian Health Hospitals have received spring 2020 “A” grades: Jersey Shore University Medical Center; Ocean Medical Center; Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy; and Riverview Medical Center.
“I want to congratulate our team members for this well-deserved recognition,” said Robert C. Garrett, FACHE, chief executive officer of Hackensack Meridian Health. “Our patients, their families, and the communities we serve are the beneficiaries of their expertise and dedication.”
The Leapfrog Group, a Washington, D.C.-based national nonprofit organization, is committed to improving health care quality and safety for consumers and purchasers.
