Riverview Medical Center Named a Top Hospital for 8th Consecutive Year

Hackensack Meridian Riverview Medical Center was once again named a top general hospital by the prestigious Leapfrog Group.

The highest performing hospitals on the Leapfrog Hospital Survey are recognized annually with the prestigious Leapfrog Top Hospital award. Top Hospitals have better systems in place to prevent medication errors, higher quality on maternity care and lower infection rates, among other laudable qualities. Hospitals that are eligible to receive a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade must have received an A in the most recent round of scoring to be eligible.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade, Leapfrog’s other main initiative, assigns letter grades to hospitals based on their record of patient safety, helping consumers protect themselves and their families from errors, injuries, accidents, and infections.
