Bayshore Medical Center’s Farmers’ Market to open June 6th

June 01, 2020

Hackensack Meridian Bayshore Medical Center will begin hosting New Jersey’s top farmers and food artisans in an effort to provide the community with local and affordable healthy food options.

Starting Saturday, June 6, Bayshore’s Farmers’ Market will spotlight produce, meats, seafood and cheeses which are all locally sourced here in the Garden State.  Bayshore’s health care experts will be available to provide patrons with information and recommendations from a variety of specialties including, food and nutrition, diabetes management, cardiology and more.

“Providing our community, the ability to purchase locally grown food and simultaneously consult with Bayshore’s health care experts is something we are very excited to offer,” said Frank Citara, chief hospital executive. “Bayshore Medical Center has been a part of this community for almost 50 years and we look forward to providing our neighbors with this exciting and unique experience.”

The Bayshore Farmers’ Market will occur every Saturday, year-round from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine at Bayshore Medical Center, 727 North Beers Street in Holmdel.

Bayshore Medical Center is committed to providing a safe environment for you and your family to shop; therefore, we are following all of the latest protocols and orders set by local, state and federal governments.
