Hackensack Meridian Health Expands Agreement for Managed Medicaid With WellCare Of New Jersey

WellCare of New Jersey members to gain access to all of Hackensack Meridian Health’s quality health care services.

September 30, 2020 ? Edison, NJ ? Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s most comprehensive health system, has reached an agreement with WellCare of New Jersey, a subsidiary of Centene Corporation, the largest Medicaid managed care organization in the country. This expanded agreement will allow WellCare of New Jersey Medicaid members to access Hackensack Meridian Health’s entire network of physicians, hospitals, and full spectrum of health care services. This expanded agreement takes effect October 1, 2020.

WellCare of New Jersey provides government-sponsored managed care services, including Medicaid, to families, children, seniors and individuals with complex medical needs. As of June 30, the company serves more than 233,000 members across the state.
