Hackensack Meridian Raritan Bay Medical Center Perth Amboy has partnered with the City of Perth Amboy to vaccinate all teachers, city employees and seniors.

“Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic we have been committed to serving the Perth Amboy community,” said Thomas G. Shanahan, president, chief hospital executive; Raritan Bay Medical Center. “Partnering with the City of Perth Amboy, we have already vaccinated over 700 teachers, city employees and seniors, and continuing to vaccinate more each day as supply increases.”

“We are working extremely hard to overcome vaccine accessibility through determined advocacy from our legislators and vaccine hesitancy with a city wide campaign to turn the tides of this pandemic,” stated Perth Amboy Mayor Helmin Caba. “I am thankful for the partnership with Hackensack Meridian Raritan Bay Medical Center Perth Amboy and Middlesex County legislators working together for our residents.”

Raritan Bay Medical Center began administering COVID-19 vaccines in December 2020, starting with frontline team members who heroically cared for thousands of COVID-19 patients. To pre-register for a vaccine within the Hackensack Meridian Health network, click here.
