Judson Chaney, Naturopathic Physician and Acupuncturist
Dr. Judson Chaney is a Naturopathic Physician and Acupuncturist. He received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University where he focused his studies on neuroscience related course work. Dr. Chaney continued his studies at the University Of Bridgeport where he received his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine. While there, he was instrumental in founding and designing the College of Naturopathic Medicines Medicinal Plant Garden.
During his naturopathic training, Dr. Chaney developed a keen interest in acupuncture as a treatment modality due to its effects on the mind and body in many conditions including pain, and chronic illness. This lead to his continued education at the University of Bridgeport Acupuncture Institute where he received a graduate degree in Acupuncture. Dr. Chaney has served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine since 2003, where he shaped future clinicians in courses such as hydrotherapy, physician heal thyself, clinical diagnosis, and anatomy lab.
Dr. Chaney began his naturopathic medicine practice in Stamford CT in 2006, as well as at the Hawleyville Naturopathic Medical Center in Hawleyville CT. In 2008, he began serving as an Oncology acupuncturist alongside medical oncologists at both Burlington County Hematology Oncology, and Mercer Bucks Hematology Oncology. He is proud to be the first acupuncturist to serve within a medical oncology practice in New Jersey. Dr. Chaney now brings his passion for health and wellness to Meridian as the Acupuncturist at Meridian Integrative Health & Medicine.
