The Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation Holds its 26th Annual Recognition Gala at the Shed in New York City

The Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation hosted its 26th Annual Recognition Gala on an autumn evening at The Shed at Hudson Yards.  The evening was capped off by a magnificent performance by world-renowned singer-songwriter, John Legend.

The celebration, with record-breaking attendance, raised nearly $4,000,000 to benefit Hackensack University Medical Center’s mission to transform health care by providing quality patient care, medical education, and progressive research. More than 1,300 guests gathered for a meaningful and entertaining evening, to celebrate this transformational mission and to serve as leaders of positive change.

The 26th Annual Recognition Gala Committee was chaired by Dr. Mark Schlesinger, chair of the Department of Anesthesiology at Hackensack University Medical Center, who has overseen the event all 26 years.
