“I provide comprehensive care for children who are diagnosed with blood cancers and solid tumors,” said Dr. Degliuomini. “Through my research, I hope to improve the hematology- oncology community’s understanding of CIT and how it affects children receiving cancer treatment, with the goal of reducing the need for platelet transfusion and preventing delays in critical cancer care delivery.”
