Integrative Health & Medicine Program Announces Opening of Satellite Office at Raritan Bay Medical Center – Old Bridge
June 26, 2018
Hackensack Meridian Health’s Integrative Health & Medicine program is pleased to announce it is opening a new location at Raritan Bay Medical Center - Old Bridge today.
The new center, an expansion of the Integrative Health & Medicine program the network launched in 2016, will provide nutrition consultations, acupuncture and health psychology consultations that focus on all aspects of health and wellness.
"The team at Old Bridge has provided integrative health therapies to patients in the hospital since 2004 and we are so excited to open our first outpatient satellite office at this location,” said Lori Knutson, R.N., BSN, HNB-BC, Administrative Director of Hackensack Meridian Integrative Health & Medicine.
Integrative health and medicine focuses on the health and well-being of the whole person — mind, body and spirit. It addresses the impact of lifestyle, environment, and genetics on an individual’s health and well-being, and understands that the provider/patient relationship is a vital component in the healing process.
The network’s Integrative Health & Medicine program focuses on five pillars of health and well-being: sleep, activity, purpose, nutrition, and resilience.
Hackensack Meridian Health launched its Integrative Health & Medicine program in July 2016 with the opening of its first clinic at the Hackensack Meridian Health Village at Jackson. Clinical services have been provided at this location since then and the practice continues to grow in terms of providers, services, and partnerships.
"I am pleased to see our program growing so quickly in such a short time and I look forward to overseeing the new location,” said David Leopold, MD, DABFM.
"As founders of the Division of Integrative Health program at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Paula O’Neill, MS, RN-BC, and I have been working on the inpatient side for close to 15 years and have seen the positive effects of integrative health therapies,” said Nina Regevik, MD. "I’m extremely proud to see the development of this outpatient facility to service even more people in our community."
The clinic will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is located at Medical Arts Building at 3 Hospital Plaza, Suite 203, Old Bridge, NJ. For more information or to schedule a consultation, please call 732-263-7999.
