JFK Medical Center recognized for excellence

JFK Medical Center’s Cardiac Cath Lab was awarded the Cardiac Cath Lab Accreditation with PCI by The American College of Cardiology for its demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients who come to a cardiac cath lab for care, including diagnostic catheterizations and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures. “This accreditation makes the JFK Cardiac Cath Lab a ‘first’ in New Jersey,” explains Saleem Husain, M.D., Cardiac Cath and Chest Pain director. Aaron Feingold, M.D., division director of Cardiology at JFK, adds, “This designation signifies our commitment to providing consistent, evidenced-based, guideline-driven, patient-centered care to all of our cardiac patients.”
