Super Model Turned Super Mentor Tyra Banks To Headline Hackensack Meridian Health’s Women Rock

More than 1,200 expected at event in Asbury Park dedicated to health and well-being
Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest and most comprehensive health network, is proud to announce that Supermodel turned Super Mentor Tyra Banks and her mother Carolyn London will be the keynote speakers at the 3rd annual Women ROCK on October 14 from noon to 5 p.m. at Asbury Park Convention Hall and the Paramount Theatre.
Banks and her mother will discuss their new book: Perfect is Boring: 10 Things My Crazy, Fierce Mama Taught Me About Beauty, Booty, and Being a Boss, where they say “bye-bye” to blushing about real topics and “hello” to your fierce and fabulous self. Getting unfiltered with some crazy, fun surprises along the way, Banks and London are promised to bring lots of laughs and heart to the FREE event which includes an afternoon of honoring and empowering women featuring dozens of health-oriented exhibitors.

The event features a host of interactive experiences including cooking demos, exercise and relaxation tips and is based on Hackensack Meridian Health’s Integrative Health & Medicine’s Five Pillars of Health and Well-Being: purpose, resilience, activity, nutrition and sleep.
In addition to Bank’s and London’s appearance, the event features a “womenologist panel’’ which will be moderated by Katie Neal, a leading radio personality from NASH-FM. Dr. Jessica Miller, Dr. Evelyn Minaya, and Julianne Cantarella will sit on the panel. Finally, author Gemma Nastasi will speak about Positive Psychology.
The event will take place in two areas - Convention Hall where participants can explore our ‘vendor village’ and get helpful tips and sample products to enhance the Five Pillars.
At the Paramount Theatre, speaking events will occur throughout the day, including the session with Banks and London.
