Ocean Medical Center to Host Inaugural Health Fair

Join Hackensack Meridian Health Ocean Medical Center for its first health fair on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and treat yourself and your family to a fun and healthy event on the campus of Ocean Medical Center. Fall into Health is a free event featuring community wellness resources, health screenings, cooking demonstrations, interactive educational displays and more. Medical experts will be on hand to answer your questions and offer valuable tips on how to improve your health. Giveaways and light refreshments will be provided.
The on-the-spot health screenings will include: BMI, blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, Stroke 5 Pillar Self-Assessment, balance, and Sleep STOP BANG Assessment. Physician lectures on various health issues and healthy cooking demonstrations will be provided every hour. The Ocean County Health Department will be on-site to offer free seasonal flu and pneumonia vaccinations. Get ready for Fall and clear out the clutter by bringing a bag or box of paper or documents you would like to have professionally and safely shredded.
