Carrier Clinic to Host Nov. 1 Webinar on Veteran Mental Health
Carrier Clinic, an NJ psychiatric hospital and recovery center, will continue its year-long series of behavioral health and addiction-related webinars on November 1 with a presentation on veteran psychiatric health called, “Our Military Veterans: Stress Busters and Self Care,” in recognition of the men and women who have served in our armed forces.

Veterans Day 2018 will be observed nationwide on Sunday, November 11.
Kathleen McClain Glynn, LCSW, LCADC, will present valuable information and helpful strategies for veterans and their family members to cope with stress during the lunchtime session from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. McClain Glynn will also review the public and private resources that are available for our veterans.

Carrier Clinic will wrap up its 2018 webinar series on December 12 at 12:30 p.m. with “Seasonal Affective Disorder: Surviving the Cold and Dark,” just in time for those sunlight-deprived days of winter. Mindy Altschul, director of clinical social services at Carrier, will present. Sign-up begins November 2.
