Hackensack University Medical Center was recognized on the Becker's Healthcare 2018 list of 100 hospitals and health systems with great neurosurgery and spine programs. The organizations featured on this year's list have extensive neuroscience and spine programs, providing treatment and cutting-edge research into neurosurgical disorders. According to Becker’s, Hackensack University Medical Center offers a robust program for all subspecialized areas of neurosurgery, including cranial surgery, neuro-oncology and complex spine surgery. The neurosurgery program is composed of 32 neurosurgeons, nine neurosurgical spine specialists and seven orthopedic surgical spine specialists who perform 1,500 procedures annually.
