Carrier Clinic Joins Hackensack Meridian Health Network

A partnership between behavioral health provider Carrier Clinic and multi-hospital network Hackensack Meridian Health is creating a team-based behavioral health care approach for patients in New Jersey. Carrier Clinic, a provider of psychiatric and addiction treatment services, has joined Hackensack Meridian Health, an integrated health network in a deal announced Thursday. Hackensack announced it is adding 37 inpatient beds to its 150-bed capacity. It also has started two new psychiatry residency programs, with a child psychiatry fellowship program slated to launch in 2020. Carrier Clinic’s campus includes a licensed hospital with 297 beds, as well as the Blake Recovery Center, a 40-bed inpatient and outpatient detox and recovery center, East Mountain Youth Lodge, a 91-bed residential facility for youths ages 13-18, and East Mountain School for seventh through 12th graders affected by behavioral and psychiatric disorders.
