Hackensack Meridian Health CEO Robert C. Garrett’s op-ed focuses on an appalling health crisis – women dying of complications from pregnancy and childbirth. Governor Phil Murphy, First Lady Tammy Murphy and the Health Commissioner Shereef Elnahal are shining a light on this critical issue to better understand what we can do as a community to raise awareness about maternal health, safety and prevent any more women from dying in childbirth.
