In March, when Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack University Medical Center once again received Magnet recognition by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the hospital became the first in the state and the second in the country to earn this designation six times. “Magnet designation is the highest and most prestigious credential that a health care organization can attain for nursing excellence,” noted Theresa M. Brodrick, executive vice president and chief nurse executive at Hackensack Meridian Health. In her new role, Brodrick is responsible for all nursing practices across the network.
