Nurse killed in crash to receive FDU degree

Adriana Riano was only six credits way from a master’s degree. Just one more final to go and Riano would achieve her nurse practitioner degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Riano, who worked as a nurse at Hackensack University Medical Center, would never take that final. She was killed May 5 in a car crash in Jersey City. She will not be left out when Fairleigh Dickinson graduates receive their diplomas next week.
