Memorial Day Ceremony

Hackensack University Medical Center held a Memorial Day Ceremony to honor its team members who are also military heroes. During the event, the “Missing Man Table” ceremony was reenacted by the Veteran Network at Hackensack University Medical Center. A wreath was placed to commemorate all of the fallen and individual roses were placed by each branch of the military for their own fallen. The keynote address was given by Mark D. Sparta, FACHE, president and chief hospital executive of Hackensack University Medical Center and vice president, Population Health at Hackensack Meridian Health.
