Audrey Murphy, Esq., MSN, RN, Honored by the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey with its Visionary Award

Hackensack Meridian Health is pleased to announce that Audrey Murphy, Esq., MSN, RN, executive vice president, chief legal officer, Operations, Hackensack Meridian Health, has been honored by the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey with the presentation of the association’s Visionary Award.
“I want to congratulate Audrey Murphy on this well-deserved recognition,” said Robert C. Garrett, FACHE, CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health. “Her visionary leadership makes a significant impact and a meaningful difference in our most essential endeavors.”
Ms. Murphy, who serves as a member of the CIANJ Board of Directors and its Executive Committee was honored among the association’s most distinguished members. According to CIANJ, she was recognized for her dedication to the free market principles upon which the association is built. Inscribed on her award it states: “Her extraordinary leadership is a result of having a clear vision, commitment to excellence, ability to attract and motivate fellow business men and women and the wisdom to engage their talents to the fullest.”
Ms. Murphy began at Hackensack University Medical Center as associate counsel and director of Risk Management in 1992 and previously served as executive vice president/chief legal officer at Hackensack University Medical Center and Hackensack University Health Network. Sheholds a Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law and BSN and MSN degrees from Pace University. She employs dual expertise as an attorney and as a nurse, navigating high-level strategic operations with a particular understanding of patient care.
Ms. Murphy was recently recognized during CIANJ’s annual luncheon attended by more than 400 business executives at the Meadowlands Hilton. The premiere event of the statewide business association represents more than 800 corporations from every industry sector.
