Four Hackensack Meridian Health Hospitals Receive “A” Grades from the Leapfrog Group

Hackensack Meridian Health is pleased to announce that four of its hospitals have earned an “A” from the Leapfrog Group as part of the Spring 2021 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade. This designation recognizes hospitals for efforts to protect patients from harm and provide safer health care.

The following Hackensack Meridian Health Hospitals have received Spring 2021 “A” grades: Bayshore Medical Center, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, and Pascack Valley Medical Center.

The highest performing hospitals on the Leapfrog Hospital Survey are recognized annually with the prestigious Leapfrog Top Hospital award. Top Hospitals have better systems in place to prevent medication errors and lower infection rates, among other laudable qualities. Hospitals that are eligible to receive a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade must have received an A in the most recent round of scoring to be eligible.
