Hackensack Meridian Health and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey Extend Agreement through 2024

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey members will maintain access to Hackensack Meridian Health services.
Hackensack Meridian Health is continuing its partnership with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (Horizon), the state’s leading health solutions provider, through 2024. Thanks to this agreement Horizon BCBSNJ’s nearly 3.8 million members will maintain their access to Hackensack Meridian Health’s robust medical offerings. Horizon BCBSNJ offers a suite of products, including commercial employer group, individual products and managed Medicaid.

With locations in eight counties throughout eastern New Jersey, Hackensack Meridian Health is New Jersey’s largest and most comprehensive health network. Its 18 hospitals and more than 500 patient care locations receive millions of patient visits year over year.

This agreement between Horizon BCBSNJ and Hackensack Meridian Health went into effect January 1, 2023, and extends the relationship through the end of 2024.
