Hackensack Meridian Health and Cigna Extends Commercial Agreement

This arrangement maintains Cigna customer access to Hackensack Meridian Health’s services.

Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest and most comprehensive health network, has reached an agreement on a new two-year contract, and will be implementing it effective May 1, 2025. This multi-year extension maintains access to Hackensack Meridian’s 18 hospitals and more than 500 patient care locations across New Jersey for Cigna's commercial customers throughout New Jersey.

With millions of patient visits to its hospitals, physician offices and other care locations every year, Hackensack Meridian Health is helping New Jerseyans achieve their best health.

This extended relationship with Cigna also includes a value-based agreement, demonstrating each organization's commitment to improving patient outcomes and reducing cost.
