Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest and most comprehensive health network, is proud to announce that the network has been named to the 2026 Training MVP Awards List by Training magazine for excellence in employer-sponsored training and development programs. This marks the 7th consecutive year they earned this distinction, and Hackensack Meridian Health is New Jersey’s only healthcare organization named to the list. This year, they secured the 34th spot on the Training MVP Award list, building upon strong performance in prior years, including 37th in 2025.
“We are honored to be recognized by Training magazine for the seventh consecutive year, and especially proud to see our continued progress in this year’s rankings,” said Robert C. Garrett, FACHE, CEO, Hackensack Meridian Health. “This achievement is a testament to the leadership and shared commitment among our world-class team members to continually expand and strengthen our training and development programs.”
The Training MVP Awards ranking is determined by assessing a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, the scope of development programs, how closely such development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives, and their effectiveness in terms of behavior change and business impact.
Hackensack Meridian Health was recognized for the impactful work of the network’s educational teams within HR, IT, and nursing, and how their efforts have positively impacted the experience of their team members and patients.
