New HM Works Flagship Clinic at Metropark Is Designed for Commuting Workers
It’s never been more convenient for employees with occupational health needs to get to their Hackensack Meridian Works appointments. HM Works recently opened its flagship clinic at the easily accessible Metropark Health & Wellness Center in Iselin, New Jersey.
Workers from across the state can reach the new facility via mass transit. The building is a few short steps from New Jersey Transit’s Metropark Station, which is one of the busiest rail hubs in the state. It’s also minutes from both the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway.

HM Works has teamed up with the Hackensack Meridian Urgent Care Plus at Metropark to offer extended hours for workers’ compensation cases. There's a seamless transition of care from the clinicians at the Urgent Care Plus to the providers at HM Works. Employers benefit from the arrangement's flexibility, which helps employees in workers’ compensation cases be assessed and treated sooner, putting them on a quicker path to recovery and a return to their duties.
Employees who need workers’ compensation clinical care when the HM Works clinic is closed can use the Urgent Care Plus clinic in Metropark's evening and weekend walk-in hours. The collaborative arrangement was made to accommodate the needs of workplaces and employees with non-traditional hours.
