Hackensack Meridian Health Appoints Joyce Hendricks as Chief Development Officer, Network Philanthropy

Hackensack Meridian Health is pleased to announce the addition of Joyce Hendricks as chief development officer, network philanthropy. As chief development officer, Hendricks will be responsible for leading fundraising and administrative services, structures, policies and procedures, best practice development and the fundraising strategic plan for the entire network.

Prior to joining Hackensack Meridian Health, Hendricks served as the chief philanthropy officer of the Institute of International Education (IIE) in New York where she was responsible for $50 million for IIE’s centennial, as well as ongoing donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. Prior to IIE, she had leadership roles with Rutgers University Foundation and Johnson & Johnson. At Rutgers, Hendricks was vice president of development and led teams that helped the university raise more funds than ever in its history as part of the $1 billion “Our Rutgers; Our Future” capital campaign. While at Johnson & Johnson, she managed a $120 million annual program and led their national Community Healthcare Program in partnership with Johns Hopkins’ Bloomberg School of Public Health.
