Welcome to the Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship

The 1-year, ACGME-accredited Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at JFK University Medical Center offers an exceptional foundation for your career. Situated in a desirable central New Jersey location, our program allows you to thrive both personally and professionally. Edison, New Jersey is closely located to public transportation and has direct access to Philadelphia and New York. Our fellowship provides a rich and balanced clinical experience, preparing you for a successful career in either an academic or private practice setting. You will train under the guidance of experienced, board-certified faculty who are dedicated to mentorship and providing one-on-one instruction. Upon successful completion, you will be eligible for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) subspecialty certification in Clinical Neurophysiology.

This program focuses on mastering electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS). You will gain extensive hands-on experience in our high-volume EMG lab, diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of neuromuscular diseases in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Our curriculum is enhanced by a comprehensive series of didactic lectures, weekly case conferences, journal clubs, and workshops. Fellows are strongly encouraged to engage in research projects, with mentorship and support to present findings at national conferences.
