Application Process

Ocean University Medical Center PGY1 Pharmacy Residency participates in PhORCAS and adheres to the rules of the National Matching Service.

Required Materials:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Letter of Interest
  • Transcripts – Submit official pharmacy school transcript(s)
  • Letters of Recommendation – Three letters of recommendation are required (1 letter of recommendation must be from faculty/clinical preceptor)

Application Deadline – All application materials must be received by January 5th.

Interview – An in-person/virtual interview at Ocean University Medical Center is required.

To be considered for a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Ocean University Medical Center, you must:

  • Have obtained a Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy by July 1st.
  • Be eligible for licensure as a registered pharmacist in the state of NJ. You are expected to be licensed in the state of NJ by July 1st.
  • Provide identification of US Citizenship or Permanent Residence Status.
  • Be enrolled in the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Residency Matching Program. Applicants may register for the matching program via
