Our care team specializes in geriatric psychiatry and offers two tailored programs for adults aged 60 and older:

Older Adult Program

Focused on patients experiencing an acute phase of psychiatric illness or behavioral disturbances related to Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias.

Active Senior Program

Created for adults who are working, approaching retirement, or recently retired, this program supports those experiencing mood, anxiety, or substance-related challenges. Participants benefit from a higher level of therapeutic engagement while connecting with peers in similar life stages.

Based on the Snoezelen concept, our multi-sensory room enriches care for individuals with dementia and cognitive impairments by creating a calming, immersive environment.

Soft lighting, gentle textures, aromatherapy, and soothing sounds help ease agitation, fear, and confusion and offer a safe space for patients to connect with their surroundings in a comforting, failure-free way.

Each patient’s treatment plan is personalized to their needs and may include:

  • Cognitive screenings
  • Family education and support sessions
  • Grief and loss recovery groups
  • Group therapy
  • Medication evaluation and management
  • Nutritional consultations
  • Occupational therapy for functional impairments
  • Physical therapy
  • Multi-sensory therapy
  • State-of-the-art electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) Services

Family and Aftercare Support

Education and family involvement are central to each patient’s recovery. Our team ensures that families understand their loved one’s treatment plan and are prepared for continued care after discharge. A comprehensive follow-up plan is developed for every patient to promote lasting stability and quality of life.
