A Dedicated Behavioral Health Hospital

Carrier Clinic is New Jersey’s leader in behavioral health and psychiatric care. The 296-bed campus includes:

  • Blake Recovery Center – a nationally recognized inpatient addiction treatment center.
  • East Mountain Lodge – residential treatment for adolescents (ages 13–18) with psychiatric or emotional challenges.
  • East Mountain School – a special education program supporting students facing behavioral or psychiatric conditions and trauma.

Hackensack Meridian operates four 24/7 crisis hotlines to support the needs of residents of New Jersey who are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, may have received care at our facilities, or are seeking referral or guidance to care or resources in New Jersey.
