Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

HMH’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides team members with confidential support for both everyday challenges and more serious problems. Counselors and other specialists can help you and your family members with child and eldercare support, parenting and family issues, relationship troubles, workplace problems or conflicts, living with chronic conditions, and more.

HMH has partnered with Optum to offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that is designed to help you live your best life and support your mental health. HMH’s EAP provides team members with confidential support for both everyday challenges and more serious problems.

Virtual Care

The HMH 24/7 app offers no-cost primary care and urgent care video visits with doctors for all HMH team members currently enrolled in Hackensack Meridian Health benefits and their enrolled dependents. See instructions to register here.

Benefit Advocate Center

Benefit programs are complex and can be difficult to understand. That’s why we have engaged outside experts who specialize in understanding the technical nature of benefits and how to work with our benefits partners on your behalf. The Benefit Advocate Center can help you with explanation of benefits, insurance contact information, prescription and pharmacy resources, and general policy questions.

The Benefit Advocate Center (BAC) is available to you at no charge. Advocates can also assist you with questions about benefits, prescription/pharmacy coverage, referrals, insurance claims issues and bills, and with finding a provider.

Team Member Support & Navigation Line

The Team Member Service Center (TMSC) is the central point of contact for all employee-related inquiries within Hackensack Meridian Health.

We act as a hub for Human Resources related services, providing support and information to team members on various topics, which include:
