Welcome to the Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program 

The Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program at Ocean University Medical Center offers comprehensive training in a dynamic environment. We expect our fellows to possess a passion for learning and provide high-quality, compassionate care to our patients. The skills learned during this fellowship will benefit fellows for the lifetime of their careers.

This program is approved by the ACGME as a one-year fellowship leading to eligibility to apply for the ABIM-sponsored sleep board. The program is designed to prepare fellows for specialty residency training and strives to provide individualized medical education, clinical skills, exposure to specialized areas of medicine, and the attributes necessary to be an exceptional physician. Fellows will have a chance to develop professionally through system-based practice and evidence-based approach to patient care. We have a state-of-the-art sleep lab where the fellows can participate in research activities. We have two excellent biostaticians available for statistical support. 

Ocean University Medical Center is a part of the Hackensack Meridian Health network, New Jersey’s most comprehensive health care system. Located in Ocean County, New Jersey, the hospital is in close proximity to New York, Atlantic City, and Philadelphia. It is minutes away from the beach, and the area offers a number of recreational activities, including concerts, dining, and various outdoors activities.
