About Us
Pediatric Dermatology at Hackensack University Medical Center
Our practice provides specialized dermatological diagnosis and treatment for skin diseases in infants, children, and adolescents. We are New Jersey’s first academic pediatric dermatology program, located at Hackensack University Medical Center.
Board-Certified Pediatric Dermatologists
Our staff consists of fellowship-trained and board-certified pediatric dermatologists who use the latest medications and advanced technology to diagnose and treat pediatric skin diseases and disorders.
Advanced Pediatric Procedures
Our practice is equipped to perform minor surgical procedures and laser therapy for infants, children, and adolescents. Anesthesia is administered when necessary to ensure patient safety and comfort.

- Allergen patch testing
- Outpatient and inpatient dermatologic care
- Management of common skin conditions such as acne, atopic dermatitis (eczema), hair loss, hives, common infections (impetigo, cold sores, ringworm), psoriasis and rashes due to viruses or medications

- Total body skin examinations
- Consultation services in the emergency department, pediatric inpatient unit, pediatric intensive care unit, and neonatal intensive care unit
