Improving Your Vascular Health

HUMC Vascular Group Photo Our team specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad spectrum of vascular conditions, including aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, peripheral artery disease (PAD), dialysis access, varicose veins and venous insufficiency, and other less common vascular conditions such as thoracic outlet syndrome. With the experience of our team, we offer fenestrated and branched endovascular grafts to treat aortic aneurysms, which allows us to offer minimally invasive treatment to those patients with complex aortic anatomy. We also provide comprehensive treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), utilizing blood thinners and minimally invasive procedures to remove or dissolve clots when appropriate. Patients presenting to Hackensack University Medical Center with severe symptoms of pulmonary embolus are evaluated by our multidisciplinary Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) including cardiologists, pulmonologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiac surgeons to create an individualized and specific treatment plan.

For patients seeking treatment for varicose veins, our office provides thorough evaluation for venous insufficiency, or backwards flow in the veins, and offers minimally invasive treatments including venous ablations and microphlebectomy for selective removal of bothersome varicosities.
